Dear Barbara and staff at Risher Montebello Mortuary,

Please accept my sincere gratitude as well as my mother's and sisters for all your assistance with the funeral arrangements for my father Sylvester Denton.

My father had instructed us to go to Risher Mortuary at the appropriate time as he held your parents and you in such high esteem. With his sudden death, we needed to move fast with arrangements.

From the moment I walked into the door in that early hour on April 1, 2013, and met with you, I felt relieved that my father and our family would be taken care of with gentleness and understanding. You listened to what we told you our father would like and your suggestions matched our needs.

Your command of the situation took the burden off of our family and you were patient with us and we gathered some of the answers to the necessary paperwork that must be completed.

My father passed away early on a Monday morning and by early Wednesday we had all the planning in place and I know this could not have been accomplished without your services. We all will have the memory of a beautiful Rosary, funeral Mass and burial thanks to your efforts.

Dear Barbara:

On behalf of my sister Eleanor and brother Sal, I would like to say thank you for overseeing the funeral arrangements on 02/03 and 02/04/2013, for my mother Marie Esquivel. When we met with you it was very apparent that your primary concern was to assist us and make suggestions that would help us with our final decisions. Thank you for arranging the service at St. Benedict's Church and ordering the flowers. We were so pleased with our mother's appearance. Everything was just perfect. And thank you for the availability of the reception room. It was such a relief and one less thing that we had to worry about.

A special thanks to Alan, who drove us to the church service, graveside service, and then back to the mortuary. Alan was very courteous and pleasant to be with. He offered to assist us in any way that we needed. It was a pleasure to have him as our driver.

A special thanks to Theresa. Having her present at the viewing was such a comfort. Her genuine greeting to our relatives and friends as they entered the mortuary was very much appreciated along with her willingness to help in any way. She set up the easels for our pictures that we wanted displayed. She did not hesitate in offering to set up the table center pieces for the reception. She assured me that everything would be ready. Just her being there made me realize that I could relax and that everything was going to be okay...and it certainly was.

Thank you again Barbara for everything. I would not hesitate in recommending Risher Mortuary to anyone needing this type of service.

From the day that hospice informed us that we should make arrangements; your staff was not only helpful, but made us feel cared for, thus we knew this is who we would like to have care for our loved one.
